Dear CrazyGrowers, I also used this for a letter among EGVGA-members (so please don´t be upset if you receive this letter multiple times).
For one of the next EGVGA newsletters I´m collecting some pumpkin-related data, which cannot be accessed via AGGC and Pumpkinlink, because these two sites are currently not up to date or even unavailable, and therefore your action is required and highly appreciated.
In detail, I need your help if you have grown a 700+ lbs pumpkin from one of the following seeds:
1725 Harp (09)
1421.5 Stelts (09)
1634 Werner (10)
1596 Werner (10)
1495 Stelts (10)
1381 Checkon (10)
1789 Wallace (11)
What I need to know now is:
The pumpkin you grew off that seed (e.g., 1324 PumpkingrowernameXYZ 2011) and the approximate size of that plant (e.g., 650 sqft).
In addition to pumpkins from the official GPC list I also appreciate contributions with official weights from non-GPC weigh-offs, contributions of DMG and/or UOW pumpkins (whereas “EST only pumpkins” aren´t helpful).
Also, if you grew an in your opinion too small pumpkin (despite the great potential of the seed and the great potential observed with your plant), and you can trace the poor growth back to particular circumstances such as for example “800 lbs on day 45, then blossom end split” or “950 lbs on day 55, then loss of 70% of the plant due to foaming stump”, I would appreciate that kind of additional info as well.

EGVGA-Mitglied bittet um Hilfe
Liebe CrazyGrowers, diesen Brief habe ich auch für eine Umfrage unter EGVGA-Mitgliedern genutzt, also bitte nicht böse werden falls ihr den Brief somit mehrfach bekommt.
Für einen der nächsten EGVGA-Newsletters sammle ich derzeit Kürbis-Daten, an die ich im Moment über AGGC und Pumpkinlink nicht rankomme, da diese Quellen im Moment nicht aktuell bzw. ganz außer Betrieb sind, und daher wäre ich euch für eure Mithilfe dankbar.
Eure Unterstützung wird benötigt, sofern ihr einen 700+ lbs Kürbis aus einem der folgenden Kerne habt wachsen lassen:

Was ich an Details benötige ist: Der Kürbisname (z.B., 1324 KürbiszüchternameXYZ 2011) und die Größe der Pflanze (z.B. 650 Quadratfuß). Nicht nur GPC-offizielle Kürbisse sondern auch DMG und UOW Kürbisse sind gefragt. Allerdings sollte das Gewicht echt sein (EST, also OTT-Schätzwerte der Gewichte, helfen mir nicht).
Falls ihr der Meinung seid dass der jeweilige Kürbis „zu klein“ für sein Potential war, könnt ihr gern noch mit angeben warum (eurer Meinung nach), also z.B. weil sehr frühzeitig ein Riss im Blütenende war, oder nach Tag 55 der Großteil der Pflanze abgestorben war etc.
Bitte schickt eure Info an Janni, und er leitet die Daten dann an mich weiter.
